Our Sugarcane Straws are made of sugarcane fibers, known as bagasse, and polylactic acid which we derive from sugarcane and cassava. They are 100% compostable made with 100% plant-based ingredients from renewable resources. Our straws are generally more rigid than plastic straws due to the incorporation of sugarcane fibers.
Our Straws will not become soggy like paper straws, they have a smoother texture, and will not impart any paper taste or flavor. We don't use any coatings or dyes - which are common characteristics in paper straws.
These Straws are guaranteed and certified and do not contain the following plastics or plasticizers:
